The store has been remodeled & updated the store several times since 1989, adding niche categories to support the surrounding neighborhoods. It has made this store invaluable to the community. A freestanding Ace Rental Place is just down the street from Lantana Ace Hardware store. There is a knowledgeable staff and reliable equipment for rent as well as being a full service Stihl dealer for sales, parts & service.
Ace Rental Place in Lantana was opened in 2002 as an extension of Lantana Ace Hardware. Ace Hardware Corporation encouraged all Ace dealers to incorporate a rental department into their stores. Since the hardware store was not large enough to accommodate this, a building nearby just was purchased for the rental store. The result was the first “free-standing” Ace Rental Place.
Managed by John Raymer, with the help of techs Bill, Dustin and Phil, Ace Rental Place has become a destination for landscapers, contractors & DIYers looking for reliable equipment.
